Starting my very own blog.
I have been an avid blog reader for some time now and my most recent obsession was the world of pens, paper, and ink. What began as a casual love for nice gel pens that grew into a rapid purchasing spree of Japanese office supplies. I had always written in a small moleskine and these pens all performed differently on the paper, some better than others. The colors astounded me!
I then looked to different paper options. Moleskine not having the best reliability was becoming an issue for me especially as I watched reviews written on fancy papers - of the Clairefontaine variety, ooh la la.
A couple Rhodia pads and some assorted notebooks later, (I'll get into detail on them all later), I started wanting more from my pen and purchased my first Platinum Preppy. Now I am a member of Fountain Pen Network (Truppi327) and I'm growing my pen, ink, and paper collection as I indulge a growing writing habit.
I was concerned that with so many great pen blogs out there that my opinions would be irrelevant. Then I thought about it and figured that another opinion out there wouldn't hurt and it will be a good writing exercise so, here it is!
Entries will be infrequent and I need to get the camera situation settled. More on pens, paper, and ink to come!
